Using the NTSB database there have been 61 Lancair accidents since 1/1/2001.

 

Searching from 1990 forward, there were 105 Lancair accidents (43 fatal).  While the following breakdowns don't quite add up (101 vs 105), they are useful:

105/1052 = 10%  (fatals added to total Lancairs since the registration was probably removed)

43/1052 = 4.1% of the accidents were fatal

 

Now, ignoring the fatals loss of registration and unaccounted for registrations, the percentages are inflated:
