Does anyone have a preferred hot start procedure that works with their tempermental engine? I've tried the procedure in the handbook and several other variations.
Steve,
Here's how I start ZR: If it is NOT the first start of the day, I shove the throttle all the way IN, the mixture all the way OUT. No priming. Yell CLEAR and push the starter button. Once the engine catches, I push the mixture in and pull the throttle out to desired RPM. Sometimes, I start to dial IN the mixture as I am pushing the starter button and wait for the engine to catch.
This method has worked for me almost everytime I use it!
