Listers,
I didn’t say Walters failures.
What is said was it seemed like there were a disproportionate crash rate among
turbine powered IVs.
Just off the top of my head, there was a
fatal in New Mexico or Arizona during the flight testing
phase. There was a turbine engine out near Helena. There was a night crash in Provo. There was a crash
in Australia.
There was a presumed weather crash in Canada. There was an engine
out on entering the pattern somewhere. No this one.
There are undoubtedly others.

I can't think of one fatal IVP accident
that was caused by the failure of a Walter turbine. According to Michael Smith
there have numerous failures. Please educate me.
