Bob,

I had my pressure switches adjusted when I purchased my plane in 1998 and when I had my pump rebuilt and new switches put on in 2003. Why would you ever adjust the pressure after it is set correctly?

If you don't know if it is set correctly, Lancair sells pressure gauges for about $25. I installed one gauge for the high side and one for the low side under the passenger seat. Now, on the ground, I can verify that the pressures are correct.

Sincerely,
Lorn

Its that time of year again when I need to adjust a pressure switch on my LNC2.  Again, I have forgotten which way to turn the screws (cw or ccw) to increase pressure.  If I guess wrong the first time that means another test flight or put her on jacks for test.  But, if one of you kind gentlemen will give me the answer, my work will be reduced.  This time, I will make a note of it.
Happy Landings,
Bob Jude
