Your #3 Cylinder missle was informative.. Did you have a recent compression check on it ?? Any other symptions other that the burnt oil ??  Was it a Cherme Chrome or Cherme Nil composition ?? Any background info you could share might help some of the rest of us with ECI Overhauled Cylinders..

The compression check had cylinders 1, 2 and 4 at 79/80.  #3 was at 67/80.  No other symptoms other than the engine has been consuming 1 qt every 5 or so hrs over its 270 hours SMOH.  ECI Classic Cast Cermi-Nil cylinders (the original Cermi-Chrome cylinders started going bad around 400 hours).  The first 12 engine hours of flight were spent above 4000 MSL.
