Thanks to every one for responding to my post concerning closing ES
wings, your comments were very helpful at easing my mind.
I now have a new problem! constructing a flow through venting system
for the fuel tanks. The reason for this is that I plan on using a delta hawk
diesel V8 engine and they recommend a positive flow through venting
system. I guess this is true for any jet or diesel fueled plane.
At first I was going to run a second vent line next to the first one and
simply
exit it on the trailing edge of the wing tip, until my brain cloud cleared
out
and I realized what a stupid idea that was, although it would be a
convenient
way to dump fuel. My second thought is to run the second exit air vent lines
toward the fuselage ,where they would be combined and then run the line
to a low pressure point at the top of the vertical stabilizer.
Dose this sound like a good solution? What have the Lancair IV installing
the walter turbines been doing?
I plan on sealing my fuel tanks this weekend, so and quick responses to
these
questions would be Very Very much appreciated.

Three weeks till closing wings
