Quite a lot of experimenting has been done by Larry Vetterman in Colorado
Springs concerning pressurizing, by ram air, a marvel carburetor.
These carburetors are about the same thing as a 1936 Chevy updraft carb. and
do not respond well to pressurization.
Vetterman found on the RV airplanes that the best results were attained by
keeping the pressure conditions surrounding the carb. and the internal
pressures as close as possible including providing a dump valve on the air
box.
