hi Mark,
I had mine done last week and we didn't find anything. We found some deposits
on the tops of the pistons which reflect my conservative operation (65% in
cruise) of the engine, but no signs of high heat conditions or cracks. The
engine is at 280+ hours. The cylinder walls look great and still show cross
hatching.
The issue in my mind is what is Continental going to do for those of us who
are affected, and will it take legal action for them to do the "right thing"?
I have added you to the list of people affected by CSB04-6. I believe there
are nine of us.
