Trying to answer my own question...
I found a Goodyear document, Aircraft Tire Data Book.
Plenty of data, but I did notice that you add 4% to the unloaded inflation
number to get the loaded inflation number. That's only 1-2 PSI on our
planes. But the 6.00x6 6 ply Flight Special II is listed at 42 PSI, the
6.00x6 6 ply Flight Custom III is also listed at 42 PSI.
The 5.00x5 6 ply tires are all rated at 50 PSI.
I think those are the Goodyears that are on Lancairs.
I guess if you add the 4% you get pretty close to the 45/55 that I have
been using, and what other guys have recommended.
But I have the Condor tires!
