Yikes, doesn't look good, does it?...
The information is real
neat except I suspect all that information is not very accurate since there
probably are a lot of builders who didn't use the word Lancair or the
model designation in their registration. If so, that would raise the
number of planes and lower the accident percentage.
After all, when you build
the plane, the parts may start out as a Lancair, but when it is built it is an
Edwards or a Krueger, or an Argente, etc., or whoever built it.
Although, you could call it anything you want.
As an example, my plane
registration does not have the word Lancair in it. And its model may or
may not come up, as its kit model designation is only a part of the registered
model number.
