I am a lurker on the LML list as I am helping a friend with a LIV and really don't have much to say on the tecnical part of building the IV, and my flying experience is and will remain low and slow as that is my thing (850 hrs. tailwheel - no - don't plan to. I have been on a couple of builders forums and believe I have learned some things about building and flying and, I think, about the people that build and fly.
I like the lessons I can learn. My first impression of Jeff's post was - This is a keeper. It didn't occur to me to criticise his judgement, but rather to thank him for teaching me something about flying I had never before considered or encountered in discussion or print. For me, I'd fly with Jeff in a heartbeat, with some others, I'm not so sure.
I'll resume my lurking now, and as before, the delete key will remain the most used key on my keyboard as I scan both lists and separate useless opinions from useful facts.
Thanks, Jeff and also Walter.

List,
There seems to be a certain hesitation to respond to a "How I survived"
story, because of the ol' "I may be next" theory.
