I am an 1800 hour pilot and have spent considerable time in a twin engine
turboprop flying cross country. I want to thank Jeff for the time he took to
relate his flying experience with us on the LML. None of us fly the same,
certainly we don't all accept the same degree of risk.
We are building fast, high altitude airplanes and the scenery will change
considerably in this new plane when it is finished. It would be much better to
learn from Jeff's experiences and encourage pilots to relate their tales of
flying than to criticize them and discourage others from writing. Some day when
you get unlucky, Jeff's tale may save your bacon.
Let's get rid of the sarcasm and criticism and concentrate on building and
flying. Don't forget that most people thought Wilbur and Orville were
nuts.
