It sounds like very few IV-P's have ice protection. Let me throw one out and I would like to here what's good or bad.  IMS system on the wings and tail. Appears to have minimal affect on wing dynamics. TKS system on prop. Eliminates electrical slip ring. I do not know exactly how the TKS slinger ring works but I would think it would also keep air inlet clear and be more reliable than electric boots. Also use on windshield. Disadvantage is, how small can fluid reservoir be and not run out? I'm getting a headache changing my mind.

However, I'm almost positive they all have props.  What's the best prop?  Opinion??  Why?
