YES YES as WALTER said cold oil high MP a wastegate issue.The WG has a
restriction [capallery] at the oil inlet,cold oil flows slower WG reacts
slower ...stayes in normally closed [spring loaded] position longer...higher
MP. As a side I agree with the 100f oil and 200+cht and when Ichanged from
fixed to constant speeeed prop my engine builder ademently expressed that I
not pull rpm down to much when cycleing prop, no more than 50rpm or I could
scuff a piston on my low time tight cold engine.
