how does low oil temp cause high MP?
I can imagine it slowing down the turbo and causing more back pressure
but
I don't see how it could increase MP. I would think it would decrease MP.

I like 100dF as a MINIMUM, but much prefer a higher value. I am turbocharged and if the oil temp is that low, the MP goes a lot higher as I apply takeoff power. That's a turbo issue, not an engine issue. 100dF is probably quite adequate for the engine.
