I got paint chips from rain in a few spots on the leading edge. Probably about 20 chips total but most of them in the same general area, leading me to wonder if it matters what is just behind the paint- i.e. carbon, micro, flox, bondo etc. I got the chips repaired and installed leading edge tape. Everything is fine.
I'm no expert, and don't want to voice any opinion about LOP, but I think you need GAMI jectors to make sure that your cylinders all peak at the same time. The fact that your temps are fairly constant doesn't prove that. There are reams of stuff written about this, a lot of it by John Deakin. You can find it all over the web or just contact George Braley (who, I assume will also answer your email.)
