 Matt,

The Sandel looks like a very nice product. However for my plane, I think that
$20,000 for one instrument is just plain old toooo... expensive.

If I replace my radios, I believe that for about $25,000 I can get a Garmin
430, 330, Storm Scope and TruTrak DigiFlight-IIVSGV autopilot with vertical
GPS steering. In this case the TruTrak would be my electric backup. I am not
in a rush and can wait for WASS on the 430.

Thanks for the advise. I am still looking and thinking. Please keep up the
advice.

 Lorn

P.S. If anyone east of the Mississippi has a flying Dynon unit installed, I
would like to fly there to see it.

If it were me, I would replace the Gyro Horizon with a Midcontinent electric
gyro unit (with internal battery backup) and replace the DG with a Sandel
unit with remote gyro and flux gate.
