Scott,
I recently replaced the car stereo in
my ES (a Kenwood AM/FM/CD) with an XM ready Sony unit. I got the antenna
and decoder to receive the XM signals and it works perfectly. The stereo
simply feeds into the entertainment input on my audio panel, a UPS SL-15
(essentially a PS Engineering 7000). I didn't have to add anything to my
system to make this work.
I highly recommend the satellite radio,
especially for cross country flights, where it eliminates the need to constantly
search for new stations as you zip through station coverages and best of all,
there are NO commercials!
