I am hoping that someone can help with a problem that I am having firing up
the hydraulic pump.
.
.
Is there anything else I can try before sending it back to Lancair, which
means I won't get it back until mid January if I am lucky?

Jerry,

I sent my pump back to the Oildyne factory had new seals put in and had new high and low pressure switches (from Lancair) calibrated for the correct up and down pressures. The whole procedure took less than a week and cost $75.00. I wouldn't have this procedure done anywhere else.

I highly recommend using Oildyne rather than Lancair for pump problems. Oildyne's contact information is listed below.
