See the posts under Dukes ect.
I replaced my Dukes boost at about 40 hours and a long time sitting. It got run dry, vapor locked, a lot. The plane does not have a header tank so if the boost losses prime the engine pump needs to be used to clear the vapor. I got the pump rebuilt.
My new rule is that on any start if the boost pump does not build pressure in a few seconds it stays off until the engine starts. Then I may use it to keep the pressure up until all the vapor is gone.
