And Walter writes:

"In this time of the internet, more and more people seem to think
that all intellectual property should be available to everyone with a
computer--for free.  In my opinion, George is exceptionally generous with
the knowledge he has spent a lot of time and money to amass."

And David Jones counters:

This site was originally started by Marv for sharing (please correct me if I an  wrong, Marv).   Over the years, some commercialism has crept in, which I feel is OK if it offers benefits to all of us at a reasonable price, and does not get out of hand.

But, it must still be a sharing situation for the most part.  So, I have to agree with Andreas' statement.  A sketch on a piece of paper could be done in short order with benefits to all.

Many of us can't come to Ada to take up your generous offer.

I also agree with  another part of Andreas' statement--If one doesn't want to take the time or effort  to share discoveries for whatever reason, he must understand that mention of them, even casually, can be irritating.

Regards to all.
