We have
always been enthusiastic to host EAA chapters for Saturday fly-ins
to the GAMI facilities at the Ada, Oklahoma airport (KADH). We
have done that at least 8 or 10 times over the last few years.
If a half a dozen or more of you folks want to bring a few
airplanes to Ada, on a Saturday, then I will be glad to spend a few
hours going over the issue and I will gladly stop and take the time to show
you everything I know about the subject. I will even buy you all
lunch, as my guests. We would need to coordinate the
deal, as I am here most Saturdays, but we have some commitments
to attend AOPA, ABS, MMOPA and some other stuff over the next few
weeks. It is not rocket science. It is not a
secret. Some of it is pretty obvious, some of it is
counter-intuitive. You may find it worthwhile, or you may
not. Let me know if a group of you want to get together
and do that. Regards,
George
George,
A big part of the enjoyment of building, flying and experimenting with my
small, weakly powered and swift Lancair is the opportunity to learn
"stuff." I would be pleased as Punch to attend such a gathering, assuming
weather and other Saturday scheduling is not in conflict. Let's see, KARR
to KADH would be about 570 NM, 3 hours, 27 gals (21 gals LOP)...................
Any P210R Cessnas operate out of there?
