don't get to worried about speeds. You can fly the upper pattern which is quite
comfortable in a Lancair. The most important thing is to plug the two fixes into
your GPS so you know exactly where you are. Plug in the initial fix,where the
railroad tracts start, and the place where they ask you to rock your wings,
after that your are in the airport pattern. It really is no sweat. I too have
been behind a Cessna, we actually were in eye contact as I went around him on
base to final. If hundreds of thousands of other pilots have done this, so can
