The company IV-P windshield was
replaced by one of Lancairs more qualified employees at the time, Jay. I believe
that he cut the windshield around the perimeter about an inch away from the
carbon removing the center part of the windshield. With that part out of your
way, you can use wedges to delaminate the 4 bid from the remaining plexiglass
and again to delaminate the plexiglass from the fuselage. If you can get the
plexiglass ring out in one piece, you may be able to use it as a pattern for the
new one.
Easily done over a weekend with
simple garden tools.
