Wally,
I am the one that posted this cure initially back in April of 2002 and
then several times after that (I thought it was a great piece of information
for anyone suffering this allergy). As Tammy says, it is much like Voo Doo
the way they treat you, but I had great results. From April of 2002 until
March of 2003 I put about 600 hours into my Lancair IVPT and was in seventh
heaven not having to suit & mask up for my wet work. My efficiency went way
up, as I could do wet work and then continue working in my plane (previously
had to vacate shop for at least 8 hours after wet work).
Unfortunately, in March I went back to be treated due to some of the
allergic symptoms surfacing again. I was treated again, with a little bit
of a varied "newer procedure" and within 2 weeks I could no longer perform
wet work without a full blown reaction. I have been in the space suit and
respirator since. This has not only greatly slowed the efficiency, it
really has taken the enthusiasm away from me.
I probably should go back for further treatment, because it appears this has
been very effective on most allergies. I have seen a large percentage of
people taking this treatment very satisfied with the results. I do wonder
though if I would have had a better "long term cure" if I had not been
exposed so frequently to the allergen? This is one of the reasons I have
just gone back to the physical protection system. Not only that, but every
medical expert I have informed of this treatment looks at me like I need to
be committed.
Good luck.
