We had the same problem on our plane and went
through 3 sets of flap tracks before we could get our flap to go up and down
smoothly. Can't remember which wing it was.
The oil pressure will definitely have no problem
moving the flap up and down but I feel you should certainly try to get it as
smooth as possible since it can be done. It helped us being so close to the
factory as we could take our wing there and use their jigs. The flap tracks come
undrilled and you get to drill them.
