Since day one (1989) to the present I mark the rotor to wheel position prior
to disassembly for maintenance. Reassembly then is a simple matter of
getting the right rotor holes lined up with the correct holes in the wheel.
Back in those building days I had heard of, via the newsletter, a potential
problem with the alignment of those holes. It underlines again the
importance of a "mentor" system while building and also a suspicious and
quizzative nature.

Hmmm. I recall the rotors only fitting one way. Didn't think it was
possible to put them on incorrectly. This does sound like it may be the
problem.
