I don't have first hand info on the Columbia but I've but I have built and flown a Lancair ES and did the stalls.  I attempted a spin and it did one revolution, I let go of the stick and it came out on it's own.   Lancair ES N997LP stalls like this...it goes up, you hit stall, the nose goes down, it picks up air speed, goes up, stalls again, drops the nose and repeats and repeats.  The vertical tail is more active than what you need.  No need to add.  My second ES will be ready for it's first flight in about 1.5 weeks.  This one has the angle of attack indicator.  This will be my first aircraft to fly that has this instrumentation.  It looks pretty great!
