Clark, I found the Website to be no help either, so I called Don. All he needs is a spreadsheet table of data taken inflight, in cruise configuration, showing each cylinder's EGT over a range of fuel flows (the procedure is explained on the GAMI website). Start at a fuelflow just before the first cylinder peaks, record each EGT, then reduce fuel flow 0.2 gph, take another set of data, reduce another 0.2 gph, take another set, etc. until you're not comfortable with how rough running your engine does on fumes...

What Don will look for is what fuelflow each cylinder peaks at (he highlighted my peaks in each column). It was easy to see #2 peaked first, then #1, 3, 4 all togeter, but about 1/3 gph less each. In cruise, I was uncomfortable leaning to the point of the other 3 cylinders slightly ROP, because #2 ran so rough. So I wasted alot of fuel in order to run #2 ROP as well.
Each injector ran between $40 and $50 (you can put them in yourself, or have an A&P install them) rather inexpensive when compared to GAMIjectors (same exact concept, but STC'd, hence $$). Don is an A&P with years of prior work experience with Bendix fuel contrllers for Bendix, so I wanted him to see my setup as I wanted to retrofit my IO360 with the larger-bore fuel controller he's designed. So I flew down there, he nailed the custom-sized injectors right on the money the first time (second set of data proved that). 0.023" for #2, 0.022" for the other three. Now all peak simultaneously, and I can run 3o degrees LOP, for a fuel savings of about 1.2 gph. I am very pleased, and my experience with Don and his wife Colleen was top-notch. Very hospitable.
Hope this helps with your decision.
