I realize this is just anecdotal evidence, but I have had very good luck
with the Douglas DG12-32 in my 235/320.  

I replaced the first one in 1998 after 5 years, it was still starting the
engine but I felt it was getting too old.

The second one is still in use, and the inside of the battery box looks
brand new,  they have never leaked a drop.  My voltage regulator is set at
14.4 volts.
