I replaced the first one in 1998 after 5 years, it was still starting the engine but I felt it was getting too old. The second one is still in use, and the inside of the battery box looks brand new, they have never leaked a drop. My voltage regulator is set at 14.4 volts. Here is a link to the full specifications. http://www.douglasbattery.com/gproducts/pdf/dg12-32.pdf Bob Belshe >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://members.olsusa.com/mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please remember that purchases from the Builders' Bookstore assist with the management of the LML.
