If you have proper (even) fuel and air distribution to all cylinders, then there should be no problems from running the engine 50 or more degrees lean of peak.......Marcelo

If the problem with Lyc I/O 320/360s is uneven fuel distribution and one of the ways to fix that is to match the fuel flow to the available air then, before jumping to Gami injectors, one should try to understand why the fuel
flow is uneven. As we have found, there us an affect from the air flow and pressure at the injector body itself. Current in flight tests shows this to be especially true at cylinder 2. By simply blocking the direct high-speed
air to the number 2 injector, that cylinder is no longer the first to peak nor to run 200-300 EGT degrees leaner than the others. One of the reasons that GAMI wants actual measurements from your operating engine may be to take into account these environmental differences and size the orifice to compensate for them. Before switching injectors, I want to normalize the conditions of my current ones and see the results. There is much work to do, but others could try this simple modification if they also have problems in getting equal work from all four cylinders..... Scott Krueger...N92EX
