As we have found, there us an affect from the air flow and pressure at the injector body itself. Current in flight tests shows this to be especially true at cylinder 2. By simply blocking the direct high-speed air to the number 2 injector, that cylinder is no longer the first to peak nor to run 200-300 EGT degrees leaner than the others. One of the reasons that GAMI wants actual measurements from your operating engine may be to take into account these environmental differences and size the orifice to compensate for them. Before switching injectors, I want to normalize the conditions of my current ones and see the results. There is much work to do, but others could try this simple modification if they also have problems in getting equal work from all four cylinders.....
