Gary,

You are correct regarding shield corporations.  Intent is clearly the
deciding factors that the judge goes after.  You must have a corporation for
the purpose of doing business not asset protection.  Besides,  any good
atorney would sue the plane owner, plane builder,  pilot, insurance company
and any other person who touches the plane for any incident.  There is no
way you can protect yourself, as pilot-in-command from any legal situation.
So guys, you must remember there are risks to everything you do in life.  We
choose to fly and with that experience comes responsibility.  If you are not
willing to accept that fact then you should not fly.
