For NEXRAD weather in the cockpit, you might want to look at the technology
being developed by Satellink http://www.satellinktech.com or WeatherStream
http://www.wxstream.com/ . The systems download weather data via satellite
every 5 minutes and give an over the horizon view that onboard systems
can't.
