Dana - One more option to confuse you :~)
Jim and I are building 2 Legacy's here together and decided to try doing the
release on the doors themselves - leaving the nice clean factory "joggle" on
the center section alone. Jim, has done his already and it worked very
well. It seems SO much simpler than the procedure in the manual. Besides,
you are already trimming and doing lay-ups on those doors anyway. Also, on
the long skinny outer doors it thickens the edges a bit and helps deal with
the sharp edge along the back side.
His fuselage is in the "rotisserie" and mine is in the alignment jig. I'll
get to my doors when we swap positions and I will definitely use this method
of releasing the doors and not the fuselage/center section.
