I'm interested in other's opinions regarding the installation of rudder
pedals on the right side of my Legacy.  Soon I will have to decide whether
to install them or not.  My evaluation of the pros and cons go something
like this:

1.  Having rudder pedals will allow me to let others taxi, take-off and land
my Legacy.  However, will I be willing to let others fly the take-offs and
landings?  Don would not let me perform these when I flew N199L.

2.  Having rudder pedals will allow me to take initial flight training in my
own plane. However, I can take training in the factory plane.

3.  Rudder pedals are not needed when flying the Legacy under normal
conditions.

4.  Right side rudder pedals will add weight, cost, and building time to my
project.

5.  Right side rudder pedals will reduce the already limited leg room for
the passenger.

Are there any other issues which I should consider, especially those in
favor of installing pedals?  Are there people out there who did not install
right side rudder pedals who now wish they had, or others who installed them
and now wish they hadn't?
