no need to worry about
overspeeding prop

Now I've never done this but if you point the nose down far enough/long
enough you can still overspeed. Most props have limits of travel and will
run out of coarse pitch (feathering is another matter.) At that point, your
prop becomes fixed pitch again. The only thing it can do is spin faster.
The opposite is the case with the fine pitch side.

I don't plan on being within 40mi of serious convective activity in a
composite, but when caught in embedded T-storms with a spam-can, fly Va for
the weight and keep the wings level. Then cross your fingers and save up
for that storm scope.
