I'd have to agree with Gary.  Throw out your impulse couplings.  For that
matter throw out both mags!  I run dual electronic ignition.  Having never
run behind a mag my comparison would only be a guess.

I like them because they are light, reliable, redundant, and perform great
well above altitudes requiring O2.
