Charlie,
I'm confused. I thought from what I read on the LML that the problem you
had was a broken crankshaft. Are you now saying that it was just an
overspeed?

{From Charlie's post I understood that the crank did break, between the front
two and back four cylinders. The prop kept the front two cylinders down to
2400 RPM but the back four oversped. I'm sure that Charlie will correct me
if I've fouled up his facts.
