The company in Kansas that I posted about must be solvent, as I was trying to get quotes from about 3 other providers, and they couldn't do it as most of the insurance companies must use the same re-insurance agencies (or whatever they're called).  After I got my initial quote, I had 2 of the other companies call me back and say that they could not quote due to  the fact that someone else had already quoted on the tail number.  Weird, but that's what happened to me.
