I have been looking for a revision to the paralleogram canopy mechanism after deciding against the fwd hinge due to the amount of mod to the header tank it required.  On paper (with a full sized model) it looks like if the rearward strut is lengthened about 5 inches and its pivit positioned several inches fwd when the canopy swings up it pushes the aft end up higher than the front giving the benefit of added entry room.  Has anyone else done this or know of a reason this should not work.
