I did keep track of my time to do the body work and paint.  Keep in mind
that prior to this project I could not paint anything with good results.  I
learned how to paint under Joe Penaz's direction and accepted nothing less
than show quality.

I also had to build my own paint booth which is included in the time. Joe's
instruction time is included too.  If I were to paint a second aircraft, I
could do it in less than half the time and could cut that in half again by
accepting something slightly less than show quality.

Total body work and paint  1,100 hours.  Consider this the upper limit with
experience or less attention to detail reducing the time considerably.
