Maybe "Thousands" is a bit of an exaggeration, but it does quantify the
*vast* number of hours needed to get the job done. Those who will accept
nothing but the flattest and highest quality are going to put many more
hours than the builder who doesn't care as much.

It can take as many hours finishing the aircraft as it it does building
it. No Joke, sanding and other finishing work is not a lot of fun and
it does take a significant amount of building time.

It might be best to prepare thyself!!! <G>

I've heard lots of folks say they have spent thousands of hours sanding.  
. . . . . cuz there ain't no way I'm spending that long just sanding!
