Have any of you airplane building studs figured out the best way to keep
track of your construction process?  I've got the photo and film
documentation part down pat, but haven't yet discovered a good record
keeping system for my time and expenses.  I started out using accounting
ledger paper, then decided to go "hi-tech" with Excel spreadsheets complete
with bar charts, etc - way too "anal" and time consuming.  I'm not spunky
enough to go the website/home page route - don't even go there!  At the end
of the day, I'm sure that the neat, orderly documentation scenario is the
best approach for the FAA and for any fly-in judges one is trying to impress
...  So, what say you, any suggestions?
