<< I purposely go through a pair of latex gloves every 5-10 minutes....
I treat the gloves as free and go through boxes without concern....
a dramatic drop in exposure to allergy causing
stuff, and a drop in the total bucket of cash going into my plane.  >>

This is what I do also.  And I thought I was the only one...

My reason for frequent changes is that if I have liquid epoxy on the gloves,
I'll leave little sticky fingerprints all over the shop.  However, I have
noticed that latex gloves covered with epoxy makes them slide over layups as
you chase down those pesky bubbles.  So I'll wear the same pair of gloves as
I apply the wet cloth to the plane.  I may go through three or four pair in
the process of the average layup.
