Actually diesel burns faster.  High octane burns SLOWER.  Thats what octane has come to mean in the modern engine.

I never responded to Bulents question, But I cant see 100:1 ratio of anything but water seriously effecting detonation.

I've wondered about a Diesel injection system for this. There are some that
use Water/Meth to do it when racing.. what would happen if you used a
Diesel? Would it be worse? I don't know anything about it really.. just that
Diesel usually burns slower..  Usually.
