Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: Turbo boost
limits in the EC2
Mode 6 went away Rusty. The EC2 now has a turbo
boost retard built in that linearly retards timing between 32 to 60" Hg.
Nominal timing is 13 deg BTDC by the time it reaches 60" MAP. This
is to avoid detonation.
Tracy (wants to go to Mojave
too) Don't we
all.... If only I had Ed's free time :-)
Well, Tracy, I warned you about letting your hobby turn
into a business{:>). Always the way it is - if you have the
money, you don't have the time; if you have the time you don't have the money
- and if retired, you have neither (well, more time than money) {:>)
Actually, we all appreciate you sacrifice - otherwise, it would be a
lot more difficult getting a rotary into the air. I too would like to
see the launch at Mojave.
