Having read of the demonstrated the effectivness of an electric water pump
(lighter weight even after a redundant instalation, less power consumed) in
our applications I have a question.

I can find no discussion or anyone offering a simular product for oil pumps.

It would seem there is a direct correlation of advantage between the
Electric Water Pump (EWP) and an Electric Oil Pump EOP?

Have I missed an offering of such a product or did i miss a pitfall?

To clarify I do not mean "pre oilers".  I mean a full time EOP.
