I had heard that the original RX7 oil coolers were better than most, due to their internal turbulator configuration. Especially the 2nd gen long oil cooler? I did hear you have to bypass the internal thermostatic valves in them, however? And the 3 gen RX7 models used a smaller oil cooler, some having 2 of them----

Anybody have any scientific tests of these original coolers?
